Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
specializing in Vascular Access to join our faith-based healthcare
organization. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role

and compassionate service. With a focus on ensuring proper vascular
access for patients, you will work in a dynamic environment where
your skills will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes
and upholding our values of personalized care. Assess patient
condition and plan appropriate vascular access care Insert and
maintain central lines, PICC lines, and other types of vascular
access devices Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and their families
on care procedures and health maintenance Monitor patient response
to therapy and medications, adjusting care plans as necessary
Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided
Participate in research and continuous improvement initiatives
within the vascular access field Strong clinical skills in vascular
access procedures Ability to collaborate effectively with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in using healthcare information
systems High level of compassion and empathy Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Certification for Vascular Access (e.g., VA-BC – Vascular
Access-Board Certified) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification desirable
