Job Description:
Join Ascension as a Registered Nurse in our Spine Operating Room
(OR) where you will have the priveledge of a hands-on role to
assist in surgical procedures that transform lives. This position
plays a crucial role in the mission of providing holistic,
compassionate care to patients undergoing spinal surgeries. You
will work in a faith-based organization that values innovation and
patient-centered care, within a supportive team that is dedicated
to improving health outcomes and elevating the community's health.
Prepare and maintain sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment
needed for spinal surgical procedures. Monitor, assess, and address
patient needs during preoperative and postoperative phases,
ensuring comfort and safety. Collaborate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure effective
patient-centered care. Educate patients and their families on
post-surgery care and recovery expectations. Participate in
training and professional development activities to stay updated
with the latest practices in spinal care. Expertise in preoperative
and postoperative care Strong ability in sterile and scrub
techniques Proficiency in monitoring patients and interpreting
clinical data Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Capability to handle stressful and emergency situations effectively

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) preferred Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
certification is highly desirable
