Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our
Medical Surgical Unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to

personalized care. Our RNs play a pivotal role in improving the
lives of our patients, providing holistic nursing care in a
supportive and technologically advanced environment. Provide direct
and individualized nursing care to patients based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and
report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions and vital
statistics. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of
patient care and medications administered. Administer medications
to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments.
Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as
health education, disease prevention, and develop health
improvement programs. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments,
equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is
maintained. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical patient
care Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
using healthcare software and systems Capacity to make quick
decisions in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support
(BLS) certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferable
