How you’ll make an impact in this role - Give pre and post renal transplant patient support. - Provide care to post surgical patients having carotid revascularization, stents, amputations, surgical monitoring and general surgeries like appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and thyroidectomies. - Care for patients who require surgical interventions for significant peripheral vascular compromise. - Gain knowledge and understanding of drips, including PCA pumps, heparin, and insulin. - Develop and maintain skills with wound changes including Wet-to-Dry, wound VAC and post surgical drains. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
