Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks a dedicated In-Patient Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services team. Positioned in the heart of Williamson, WV, we are committed to providing top-tier health services tailored to our community's unique healthcare needs. This role requires a professional who can efficiently conduct blood sample collections and manage specimen storage consistently with hospital protocols and safety standards. Perform blood collection procedures with minimal patient discomfort. Properly identify patients and correctly use lab equipment to collect blood and other samples. Maintain cleanliness and order in the collection areas. Label and track all testing samples accurately. Store blood draws according to established guidelines. Uphold all health, safety regulations, and procedures. Provide patients with instructions for sample collection processes. Proficient in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques. Ability to handle biological samples. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with efficient time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
