Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated
Phlebotomist-In-Patient to join our team. This role requires a
skilled individual who can perform blood collection and handling
with a focus on patient safety and comfort. As part of our
community-centered health facility in Williamson, WV, you'll
contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding health services
and participate in innovative care programs designed to meet the
unique health needs of our local patient population. Perform
venipuncture and skin puncture to collect blood samples efficiently
and safely. Explain blood draw procedures to patients, ensuring
understanding and comfort. Label and track samples accurately for
subsequent analysis. Maintain phlebotomy equipment and ensure all
use adheres to health and safety standards. Assist in patient data
entry and maintain confidentiality of all patient records.
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay
updated with the latest health safety guidelines and techniques.
Proficient in various types of blood drawing techniques Strong
understanding of safety protocols and infection control Effective
communication skills with a focus on patient interaction Ability to
work calmly under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license
required. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
