How you’ll make an impact in this role - Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population, including oncology, post-surgical, and medical-surgical patients. - Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full oncology continuum, including pre-treatment, active treatment, and post-treatment phases. - Manage post-operative oncology patients (e.g., mastectomy patients), including surgical site assessment, complication prevention, and comprehensive discharge education with a focus on wound care and recovery. - Safely administer and monitor chemotherapy and immunotherapy/biotherapy treatments, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and vigilant management of treatment-related side effects. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support complex care needs, including symptom management, palliative care, and hospice services, while providing compassionate education and support to patients and families. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - One or more of the following required: - Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
