Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – PCU / Cardiac Unit Name: 5T PCU Requirements: Must have an active TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing Minimum 2 years of PCU experience Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Interpretation Must Have: Experience with post-op CABGs, vascular, and general cardiac patient populations Knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement Management of chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR bands Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 33 Patient Ratios: 3:1 / 4:1 Unit Staffing: Unit Secretaries M–F 7a–7p; Nurse Extern availability at times Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: Work every other weekend; 36 hours/week; flexibility to fill scheduling needs Floating Policy: Contract labor first to float Patient Experience Requirements: Focus on pain management, communication, and responsiveness Dress Code (Required): Scrubs: Galaxy Blue, Red, or Black Additional Information: Mixture of experienced and new nurses Strong teamwork and supportive environment Opportunity to work with a collaborative cardiac PCU team Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville Job ID HT49.
