How you’ll make an impact in this role Intuitive Surgical Partnership: Act as the "right hand" to our surgeons by anticipating every move. With elite focus and a proactive mind set, you’ll ensure the exact instrument or supply is ready before it’s even requested. Patient Advocacy in Motion: You are a critical guardian of the patient’s journey. From precision positioning to meticulous draping, you ensure safety, dignity, and clinical excellence at every stage of the procedure. Guardian of Accuracy: Take ownership of the sterile field with masterfully organized workflows. By maintaining 100% accuracy in instrument and sponge counts, you serve as the final word in patient safety from incision to closure. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Per Tennessee Code (TCA) 68-57-101(a), non-certified applicants must have 18 months of surgical technologist experience in the 3 years preceding 5/21/07; or began the appropriate surgical technologist training prior to 5/21/07 and completed by 5/21/10. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
