The role involves providing top-notch direct and indirect care to patients in our medical-surgical units, supporting them through their recovery processes, and ensuring that high standards of healthcare are consistently met. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and promptly address any adverse reactions or complications. Operate medical equipment, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Participate in continuous education to improve clinical skills and comply with hospital policies and procedures. Proficient in providing general nursing care to surgical patients Able to operate medical equipment safely Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient in handling patient health data and management systems Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or eligible for licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
