Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Neuro (Auto Offer ) - Location: Nashville, Tennessee - Building: Main - Unit: 3rd Floor – Neuro Medical/Surgical - Cost Center: 611 Contract Details - Position Type: Travel RN - Specialty: Medical Surgical / Neuro - Contract Length: 13 Weeks - Projected Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Shift: Night Shift - Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week - Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Weekly Hours: 36 Unit Overview - Number of Beds: 20 - Patient Ratio: 6:1 Staffing & Support - Tech support available on both day and night shifts - Unit Secretary available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Equipment & Technology - IV Pumps - Telemetry - Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs) - Continuous Pulse Oximetry - Feeding Pumps - PCA Pumps - EKG Machines - Bladder Scanner - iMobile Communication Technology - EMR/Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements - 3 shifts per week (12 hours each) - Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule Floating Policy - Contract staff are first to float - Rotation followed when multiple contract staff are scheduled Patient Care Expectations - Provide attentive and compassionate patient- and family-centered care - Perform bedside shift reports - Establish personal connections with patients and families - Actively involve patients and families in the plan of care Hospital Designations - Comprehensive Stroke Center - ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center - Certified Chest Pain Center Required Qualifications Experience - Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience Licensure & Certifications - Active RN License - BLS Certification (Required) Requested Skill Set - Medical/Surgical nursing experience - Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment - IV starts - Basic wound care - Management of surgical drains - Nasogastric tubes - Chest tubes Benefits :- /nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance/nReferral Bonus Programs About Binding Minds Binding Minds: Healthcare Staffing firm where your talent is valued, and your career has a true partner.
