Schedule: Flexible scheduling using preference-based system; no
floating required Highlights: 20-bed LDRP unit with 5 OB assessment
beds and dedicated Birth Center Full range of OB services including
vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, epidurals, versions,
postpartum tubals, and cerclage removals State-of-the-art GE fetal
monitors and Novii technology; dual documentation system (CPN and
Meditech) Excellent staffing support: unit secretary and PCT
weekdays, OB scrub tech available 24/7 HCA Unit of Distinction
recipient (2021); innovation pilot site focused on nurse workload
improvement and patient outcomes Safe patient ratios: 1:3-4
couplets, 1:1 for active labor and high-risk cases, 1:1-2 for
triage Requirements: Active RN license eligible for Tennessee
practice Labor and Delivery experience required Triage experience
required AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
required BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required Couplet care
