We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in General Dermatology (not aesthetics) at our Nashville locations . Candidates must possess great time management and organizational skills, be motivated, committed, and dependable team players who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is for 4 days per week (Monday through Friday), 10 hours per day. We highly value bilingual candidates and offer additional compensation for those who are fluent in both English and Spanish. Summary of Responsibilities: Able to set up patients in exam room, review their medical history, and obtain a detailed HPI. Able to explain procedures to patients and consent patient. Able to scribe for provider during visit, and fill out lab and requisition forms correctly. Able to set-up for and assist provider with all procedures including, but not limited to, biopsies and excisions. Able to administer lidocaine injections and IM injections. Able to perform wound dressings and give post-op instructions to patients. Able to call patients to inform of biopsy and lab results and schedule further treatment accordingly. Able to clean, package and sterilize instruments. Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA protocols. Knowledgeable about OSHA protocols. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Current RN License. BLS Certification.
