TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations and other heart-related procedures. You will collaborate with top cardiologists and medical personnel to deliver treatment that enhances patient outcomes and supports our community's health. Prepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures, and provide immediate post-procedural care. Administer medication as prescribed by the attending cardiologist. Operate and maintain all cath lab equipment and instruments. Document all patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate tailored care plans. Educate patients and their families on post-procedural care and health management. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac care Proficiency in the use of cath lab equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
