TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a premier full-service hospital located in Smyrna, TN, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Department. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier patient care in an environment known for its robust emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, advanced diagnostics, a modern birthing center, and comprehensive surgical services. As an RN in our Medical Surgical unit, you will work alongside a team of exceptional medical professionals to support patient recovery, manage post-surgical care, and contribute to our commitment to excellence in healthcare. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Medical Surgical unit. Assess patient conditions through diligent monitoring, reporting, and recording of symptoms or changes in status. Administer medications, monitor dosages and note orders and interactions. Develop and manage nursing care plans in collaboration with the medical team. Educate patients and families on post-surgical care protocols and general health maintenance. Ensure adherence to all relevant nursing policies, standards, and practices. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Ability to handle stress and perform effectively under pressure Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee. BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
