Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, located in the vibrant
city of Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Progressive Care Nurse to join our top-tier medical staff. Our
facility is renowned for its broad range of services including
emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation, all
delivered with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care. As
a Progressive Care Nurse at TriStar Southern Hills, you will play a
critical role in managing the care of patients with moderate to
severe conditions, providing continuous observation and
intervention, and preparing patients and families for next steps in
recovery. Monitor and evaluate patients with complex needs in the
progressive care unit. Administer medications, document patient
status, and respond to emergencies. Educate patients and families
about treatment plans and health management. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Uphold
hospital policies and adhere to state and federal regulations.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability
to perform detailed assessments and make prompt decisions Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Capability to work
effectively in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee BLS Certification,
ACLS preferred Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) a
plus but not required
