Job Description:

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, is currently seeking a highly qualified ER Resource Pool Nurse to join our dynamic emergency services team. This role is critical in ensuring flexible, high-quality care to meet the dynamic needs of our diverse patient population. The ER Resource Pool Nurse will work across various emergency units, adapting to the pace and unique requirements of each, thereby supporting comprehensive patient outcomes and optimizing the department's responsiveness. Our facility prides itself on a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and learning through exposure to a wide array of emergency care scenarios. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within the emergency department. Adjust quickly to varying health situations and department needs without compromising patient care quality. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in real-time. Utilize strong decision-making and prioritization skills in high-pressure situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing educational programs to maintain competence and learn new skills in emergency care. Support the training and mentorship of new staff and nursing students. Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency scenarios Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly in various emergency units Proficient in using electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Tennessee Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended
