Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Bowling Green, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: State nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry experience Knowledge of chest tubes Dysthymia training Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty. The unit has a total of 36 beds with patient ratios of 4:1 for catheter recovery, and a maximum of 6:1, which may be stretched to 7:1 at times. Support staff including patient care technicians are available on both day and night shifts, along with unit clerks during day shifts. The primary equipment used includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps. Documentation is managed through the Meditech system. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. Agency personnel may float to other units such as Orthopedic or Med-Surg if necessary. The team strives for a 75% patient satisfaction rate that is essential to the patient experience. Advanced procedures performed on the unit include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis. The dress code mandates any scrubs except camouflage. Unit policies include a Telemetry Monitoring Policy and a Stroke Policy. The unit celebrates outstanding performance through awards, including the Daisy and Bee award certificates, along with a monthly STAR award voted by staff.
