Ascension is seeking a dedicated RN - Clinical Lead to oversee our Observation and Medical Surgical Floor. As part of a faith-based healthcare organization, this role is pivotal in reinforcing our mission to provide compassionate, personalized care through innovation. The Clinical Lead will be instrumental in guiding patient care while effectively managing nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient service and clinical efficiency. This position requires a balance of clinical expertise and leadership skills to uphold excellent patient outcomes and staff development within a dynamic healthcare environment. Oversee daily operations on the Observation and Medical Surgical floor. Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and performance feedback. Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Implement patient safety and risk management initiatives. Participate in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff. Assist in budget preparation and ensure resource allocation complies with department objectives. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proven leadership and team management capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make swift, critical decisions Proficiency in clinical software and healthcare technologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
