Job Description:
Ascension, a leader in faith-based healthcare, is seeking a
dedicated RN - Clinical Lead for our Medical Surgical Floor to
oversee daily operations while ensuring superior patient care and
adherence to healthcare standards. This role is crucial in
maintaining our mission to innovate healthcare and provide
personalized, compassionate care. The ideal candidate will be
skilled in managing both staff and patient needs, driving effective
communication across multidisciplinary teams, and promoting the
health and wellness of our community. Oversee nursing staff and
manage the day-to-day operations of the Medical Surgical Floor.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to
all relevant healthcare regulations. Develop and implement floor
policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development support
to nursing staff. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare
teams to enhance patient treatment plans and outcomes. Manage
patient caseloads and provide direct patient care as necessary.
Monitor and report on healthcare outcomes, adjusting strategies as
needed to improve patient care. Lead initiatives for healthcare
quality improvement and patient safety on the floor. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in using healthcare software and
systems Advanced knowledge of patient care and safety protocols
Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under
pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) preferred Certification in Medical-Surgical
Nursing (CMSRN) is advantageous
