qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 2 weekends per month
required; rotating summer and winter holiday coverage Highlights:
16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in
post-operative cardiac surgery and advanced device management
Patient ratios of 1:2 standard, 1:1 for specialized device patients
High-volume surgical program with 5 full-time cardiac surgeons
performing advanced procedures Intensivist coverage assigned to
unit 24/7 for enhanced patient care and nurse support Meditech
documentation system; Phillips bedside telemetry monitors and
Alaris IV pumps HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner and Daisy
Award Recipient unit Requirements: Active Tennessee RN license or
compact state license BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong
critical care experience with CVICU background required
Demonstrated competency with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, CRRT, ECMO, Centrimags,
and LVAD devices Ability to float to other ICU units as needed Why
