Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
for our Women's Operating Room who is passionate about providing
exceptional care tailored to womens health needs. Join a team that

Provide compassionate and efficient care to patients in the
operating room with a focus on women's surgical needs. Assist in
surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and senior
nurses, maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique.
Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot all pieces of operating room
equipment and instrumentation. Monitor patient vitals and adjust
care plans in consultation with healthcare providers based on their
specific needs during surgeries. Coordinate with multidisciplinary
healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes, adhering to hospital
protocols and procedures. Educate patients and their families on
preoperative and postoperative care, focusing on women’s health
issues. Participate in ongoing professional development and
training to stay abreast of advancements in women's health and
surgical care. Proficiency in managing operating room technology
and equipment. Strong understanding of safety and sanitation
standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
Expertise in women’s health and surgical care. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. BLS/ACLS
certified. CNOR certification preferred (Certified Nurse Operating
Room).
