Job Description:

Ascension, a faith-based healthcare leader, seeks a dedicated RN-Cardiac Imaging to join our mission-driven team. This role focuses on using advanced imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting our vision by providing expert care and contributing to our innovative practices to improve patient outcomes across our communities. Operate and monitor imaging equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. Collaborate with cardiologists to plan and evaluate the imaging requirements for patient care. Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for cardiac imaging procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during cardiac imaging operations. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Educate patients and their families on procedure details and post-procedure care. Participate in continuous education to stay current with evolving industry practices and technology. Proficient in the use of cardiac imaging technologies such as echocardiography, MRI, and CT. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in procedural tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and make informed clinical decisions. Knowledge of proper radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Additional certification in Cardiac-vascular Nursing or Cardiac Imaging preferred.
