Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: December 11, 2025 Location: Nashville, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3–4 weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period; 2:1 patient ratio; floating as needed based on census Highlights: 32-bed critical care unit with specialized cardiogenic shock program featuring 12 dedicated beds Advanced cardiac procedures including PA catheter monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT State-of-the-art equipment including Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors Meditech documentation system with support from student nurse externs and unit secretary (M–F) Award-winning unit with active Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award recognition Collaborative team environment with providers specializing in this patient population Requirements: Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility Strong critical care experience required Cardiac experience required (must have cardiac background) BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations preferred Advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing cardiogenic shock program with engaged staff and excellent teamwork.
