Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – ICU/Critical Care Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: December 22, 2025 Location: Nashville, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Four-week schedule rotation; 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period; 2:1 patient ratio on a 32-bed unit Highlights: Focus on cardiac critical care with a growing cardiogenic shock program featuring specialized providers and 12 dedicated beds Advanced procedures including central and PA catheter insertion, intubations, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT Supportive environment with student nurse externs, unit secretary (M-F), Hill-Rom beds, Phillips telemetry, and Meditech documentation Engaged, collaborative team culture recognized through Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award program Opportunities to work with critically ill cardiac patients requiring high-acuity interventions Requirements: Cardiac experience required Strong critical care background BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with PA catheters, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred Ability to float to other units as census and staffing needs dictate Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to be part of an expanding cardiogenic shock program where you'll care for a specialized, high-acuity patient population.
