is seeking a talented faculty physician to join the Colon and
Rectal Surgery team in the Department of Surgery in Nashville,
Tennessee. Position Highlights: Vanderbilt’s Colon and Rectal
Surgery program is the fastest growing colorectal surgery practice
in middle Tennessee, comprised of 7 experienced surgeons and 4
APPs. The Colon and Rectal Surgery program offers care at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, TN, a
Level 1 trauma center and 1200-bed academic medical center with 166
residency and fellowship programs, including a general surgery
residency and a colon & rectal surgery fellowship. This Clinician
Educator-track position offers a wide range of colorectal surgery
cases in a collaborative team that includes gastroenterology,
endoscopy, and oncology both at VUMC and satellite locations within
the Nashville metro. Faculty appointment at the rank of assistant
professor with excellent mentorship and the opportunity to teach
fellows, residents, and other learners. Great work/life balance:
only 3-4 weekends per year on call, weekday backup call 1:8. Enjoy

Qualifications: MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in
General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery with a solid commitment
