Job Title: RN CVICU Profession: RN CVICU Specialty: RN CVICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 08:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Must work 1 of 2 holidays Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the critical care unit. The unit has a capacity of 6 beds. The patient population includes individuals with cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmias. Patients range in age from young adults to late adults (18-60). The nurse to patient ratios will vary. Travelers may be required to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment. Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.
