Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a
faculty pediatric otolaryngologist with specialty interest in sinus
and asthma to provide care in Nashville, TN. Position Highlights: -
Vanderbilt’s Pediatric Otolaryngology team is comprised of 9
surgeons and 10 advanced practice clinicians who perform more than
25,000 outpatient visits and 6,000 surgeries per year. - The
Pediatric Otolaryngology team is developing an asthma/sinus/allergy
program and is seeking surgeons with interest in sinus obstruction
& sinonasal conditions. This position will also support
comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology patients. - Excellent
multidisciplinary collaboration in 13 specialty clinics with
specialists at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at
Vanderbilt. - Great work/life balance – take general pediatric
otolaryngology call only one week out of nine, led by residents. -
Teach fellows, residents, and other learners with a faculty
appointment to VUMC. Opportunity to participate in research, QI
projects, or program expansion during protected academic time. -
