Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,699 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac experience Strong critical care experience Description: MUST HAVE CARDIAC EXPERIENCE. The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Student nurse externs are available as techs. A unit secretary is available Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 15:30. Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors. The documentation system used is Meditech. Schedules are planned for a 4-week period with 3-4 weekend shifts required. Staff may be required to float to other units depending on census. Patient experience requirements are not specified. Advanced skills required include PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred. Procedures performed on the unit include central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations. The dress code includes scrubs in galaxy blue, red, or black, and scrub jackets or vests. The unit has received recognition through the Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award. A growing cardiogenic shock program is in place. The unit has a specialized team focusing on this patient population.
