Unit (CICU) is a fast-paced, challenging work environment where
adult patients are treated for a multitude of cardiac diagnoses.

many advanced therapies and mechanical assist devices to treat our
patients. As a nurse in the CICU, you become an expert on these
therapies and devices and work closely with an interdisciplinary
team to create and execute a plan of care. We are proud of our
cardiogenic shock and ECMO programs that combine the expertise of
critical care providers, interventional cardiologists, heart
failure specialists, cardiac surgeons, and others to recognize
cardiogenic shock early, intervene promptly, and treat

location. Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse
performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered
Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily
practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment. Identifies
nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the
patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care while
utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Participates in
performance improvement activities. Provides care and coordinates
participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and
vision statement. What qualifications you will need: Interpersonal
skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians,
and other employees. Graduate of an accredited School of
Professional Nursing. Current Licensure by Tennessee Board of
Nursing Current BLS certification. ACLS certification within 6
months of hire NIHSS Stroke Certification within 6 months of hire
