JOB TITLE: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse for FT and PTDEPT: Nashville TN - Detox CenterSCHEDULE: Shifts available include 7a-7p / 7p-7a with rotating weekend shift coverageLicensed Practical Nurse SummaryProvides care for clients dealing with co-occurring disorders in a detox setting located in Nashville TNESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Takes client's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of clients as needed in emergency situationsMaintains record of persons treated, and prepares incident reportsCompletes client medical history to be added to the clinical recordPerforms tuberculosis testing on all clients at time of admission and employees and makes appropriate referrals for individual's exhibiting S/S of TB or presenting with positive TB testIs responsible for the follow-up and documentation of medical information into the client's clinical recordCompletes the medical admission process and assists the medical records department, as neededIs available to answer medical questions after hours as needed by on-call staffPerforms other duties as required or neededQUALIFICATIONSAn Active Unencumbered Nursing License in the State of Tennessee, requiredPass Background Check and Drug Screen requiredMust have strong computer skills with ability to type 30 wpmMust demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills with paperworkKeeps a current CPR and First Aid certificationsValid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; ; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hiredEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEDegree in Nursing requiredHigh School Diploma or GED required BENEFITS AVAILABLEPlease apply online through the General Application link at https://buffalovalley.e3applicants.com/Buffalo Valley is a Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity EmployerPIf8bb7b6cdc58-25660-34396700
