RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medications and treatments, participate in procedures, and use monitoring systems as needed.--What you will do in this role:--
    • You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.----
    • You will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.----
    • You will record patients' medical information and vital signs.----
    • You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.----
    • You will modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.----
    • You will direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.----
    • You will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.----
    • You will monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.----
    • You will instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.----
    • You will prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.--

      • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.--
      • Current BLS certification--
      • PALS within six months of hire--
