Unlock your potential!Job Summary and Qualifications The Resource Nurse supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.\n What you will do in this role:\n\nPerforms rounds on each nursing unit.\nObserves and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered.\nIdentify nursing educational needs.\nEscalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate. \nEnsure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice. What qualifications you will need:PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start dateRegistered NurseBachelors DegreeBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateAdvanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved). TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women's services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke Center.
