JOB SUMMARY:



Supports social work staff in meeting administrative and clinical standards and/or requirements. Provides expert psychosocial assessment of and brief targeted intervention for social, emotional and environmental issues that impact client/family ability to optimally benefit from care. Actively collaborates with team to meet client care, outcome management and system improvement goals. Represents the Social Work department on institutional committees/task forces. Provides leadership for department committees/workgroups. Provides clinical supervision and/or education for Social Worker II staff within the department.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides brief targeted interventions for identified clients.
Completes psychosocial assessment and assists team with the development of the plan of care.
Provides education and or consultation to clients and families, treatment team and community.
Provides leadership and clinical supervision to Social Worker 2 staff.
Participates and collaborates in system improvement goals.
Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

Our Addictions Program helps patients detoxify and get a solid start to recovery. This program is based on a very specialized approach to the 12-Step Program for recovery from chemical dependency and psychiatric problems. The program features group psychotherapy, help with leisure skills, individual and family therapy, introduction to 12 steps, physical conditioning, spirituality, and support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.Because each patient is different, we offer compassionate, personalized care. Our aftercare and discharge planning services help our patients lead healthy lives after they leave treatment

Basic Qualifications Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) and Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker Required
    Additional Qualification Information:

    • Must hold a current Tennessee Social Work License. Candidates who have recently graduated from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work or have moved to TN with another State's Master Social Work license are allowed a provision to obtain licensure from the TN State Board within six (6) months of hire date.
