Description Senior Director of Compliance Pharmacy Solutions -
Remote Options Requisition #2214233 Job Summary: Senior Director of
Compliance provides leadership over multiple departments by
developing and promoting awareness of goals, objectives, policies,
and procedures; supervising, coordinating, and evaluating the
activities. Oversees capital and operation expenditures, vendor
negotiation and implementation of medium to long term strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
- Independently develops goals and objectives for the department
based on interpretation of institutional policy and goals. Ensures
work supports the vision and mission of the institution.
- Oversees and maintains development and execution of programs
and projects related to pharmacy compliance. Ensures the most
effective operation of the department through program development,
process improvement and coordination/integration of processes with
other departments. Applies in-depth business knowledge across
multiple areas of the business.
- Identifies, establishes, maintains, and evaluates quality
assurance standards, programs, and procedures within
department.
- Maintains official records and documents and ensures compliance
with VUMC policies and regulations along with external
accreditation bodies as applicable to specialty pharmacy.
- Defines and achieves financial targets in support of business
goals.
- Create an environment that models the mission, vision, values,
and culture of the organization supporting staff learning and
self-development and measurable performance standards. BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS
-
- Pharm D or bachelor's degree with equivalent experience and
active pharmacist licensure (Required)
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in specialty pharmacy
accreditation (Required)
- URAC and ACHC experience preferred
- Minimum 50% ability to travel to fulfill client requirements
and project needs and/or for personal development PHYSICAL

- Occasional: Vision: Clarity of near vision at 20 inches or less
and far vision at 20 feet or more with depth perception, peripheral
vision, color vision.
- Frequent: Noise: May include exposure to occupational noise
levels which equal or exceed an 8-hr time-weighted average of 85
decibels, requiring enrollment in VUMC's Hearing Conservation
Program which includes training, use of hearing protection, and
periodic audiometry.
- Continuous: Communication: Expressing or exchanging
