As the Product Manager within our Intelligent Medical Network you will set and execute the strategy for the next generation of tools and solutions that help Providers and Payers streamline patient eligibility and revenue cycle/claims management processes reducing delays, errors, and rework that drive administrative costs. You will work with internal and external partners to explore, validate, and execute strategies to grow our business and improve outcomes for our customers (and their customers). Key components to success in this role are critical thinking capabilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This position combines the benefits of joining a fast-growing, agile team while leveraging Change Healthcare's robust set of healthcare technology capabilities to drive outsized impacts across the Healthcare Industry.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Lead primary and secondary customer and market research, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, market opportunities, emerging technology/trends, competitive landscape, and competitor strategies
  • Support validation of product concepts or ideas, establishing and getting support for the vision and approach
  • Define the stakeholder problem to be solved and value delivered, and how the product affects other stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem
  • Ensure the product has a realistic, successful path to scale
  • Build and maintain portfolio and product business models, including sales, revenue, costs, expected return and pricing approaches
  • Set and maintain the product roadmap, using an agile mindset to cascade business objectives and market opportunities into product priorities
  • Prioritize features for release, leveraging an iterative and incremental approach to delivering measurable customer value
  • Work closely with engineering to make sure they understand the value of priorities, identify and remove impediments, and execute against release objectives
  • Lead the build, maintenance, and prioritization of the team backlog (user stories, defects, and enablers)
  • Understand the scope and business implications of product, operational, and technical decisions, providing recommendations or input on decisions to drive them to resolution
  • Actively participate in all agile delivery ceremonies
  • Establish and maintain relationships across Change Healthcare, including sales, account management, marketing, channel partner management, and Network Solutions.
  • Maintain a high performing culture by coaching and supporting peers, colleagues, and team membersWhat are the requirements needed for this position?
    • 3-5 years' experience in product management
    • Bachelor's DegreeWhat critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
      • Success scaling new products or managing a real time network/solution that has scaled to tens of billions of transactions -
      • Healthcare experience, including RCM, claims processing, or reimbursement management a plus
      • Use customer and business insights to build and evangelize a customer-centered vision and strategy
      • Fluent in product management and agile delivery methods
      • Can take big, complex goals and break them into discrete and actionable projects and initiatives
      • Build informal/formal networks internally and externally, driving alignment and buy-in behind shared objectives to drive results. -
      • Work effectively with peers, partners and others who are not in the line of command to positively impact business performance
