OPEN POSITION: Intake Therapist - LICSW or LMHC SCHEDULE: Full-Time No On-Call Some Flexibility Offered COMPENSATION: $65,000 to $75,000 Annual Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience Health/Dental Insurance Continuing Education Allowance Paid Time Off Peer Supervision Provided Professional Copy Editing Services 401k w/ Safe Harbor Contribution LOCATION: Needham, Massachusetts option for hybrid model (some days work from home, some days in office) must be based in greater Boston area COMPANY PROFILE: This organization is a privately-owned company that delivers the highest quality neuropsychological and psychotherapy services available in the area. They work with patients across the lifespan, and populations struggling with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, neurological disorders, executive difficulties, anxiety, mood disorders, dementia, memory loss, and traumatic and acquired brain injury. They have a staff of more than 40 dedicated individuals and are currently hiring due to growth. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Among other duties, the Intake Therapist will: provide initial clinical intakes and psychosocial assessments for potential clients carry an individual psychotherapy caseload run psychotherapy groups/parenting groups as needed be responsible for all documentation (i.e., progress notes) effectively collaborate with schools, other providers, and staff be responsible for administrative tasks, such as requesting insurance authorizations have an understanding of third-party reimbursement (helpful, not required) Intake Therapists typically see an average of 2 to 3 clients per day, also providing additional therapy services as needed, but the schedule and exact details of the position are negotiable. Thorough training and supervision will be provided for the new clinician. There is robust administrative support staff and a Training Director for onboarding and related activities. The organization uses an EHR and all Mac/Apple equipment. The new Intake Therapist may choose to work fully in-person or, if desired, a hybrid model of remote (work from home) days and in-office days.
