Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) administers
speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place
of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders
and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the
Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor. Speech therapy
services are furnished only by or under the supervision of a
qualified speech pathologist or audiologist. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A
person who has a masters or doctoral degree in Speech Language
Pathology, and is licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist by the
state where they furnish services, or 2. A person who has
successfully completed 350 clock hours of supervised clinical
practicum (or be in the process of completing), at least nine
months of supervised full-time SLP experience, and has successfully
completed a national examination approved by the Secretary.
3.Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing. 4. Two
(2) years experience, preferred.
