Job Description:

The Manager of Diversity and Inclusion Programs is responsible for advancing strategic diversity management at Asurion by recommending, developing and implementing diversity and inclusion processes, initiatives and operating models. The Manager will work closely with the Diversity and Inclusion team, HR team members, Employee Resource Groups and business leaders across the organization to ensure processes, initiatives, resources and tools are effectively leveraged to drive business results and to ensure an inclusive and diverse employee population that align and support the organizational goals. The role includes managing complex projects and creating new processes from inception to implementation, identifying key stakeholders, setting meeting cadence, determining scope of work, defining new processes and integration with technology, assigning and tracking action items, holding teams accountable to meeting deadlines, determining program ROI and budget, implementing programs in the anticipated timeline and ensuring adoption and a good measurement system.

  • Define and deploy diversity measures, programs, operating models, policies and processes to ensure the success of diversity and inclusion strategies at Asurion
  • Build trusting relationships with business leaders, HR colleagues, Employee Resource Groups and employees to develop a deep understanding of the organization?s workforce, culture, diversity, inclusion and retention opportunities
  • Identify change management opportunities by assessing the organizational climate through industry research, employee feedback and employee experience survey results
  • Develop and facilitate focus groups and dialogues where necessary to support inclusion, diversity and equity initiatives
  • Manage process and project management deliverables for all assigned initiatives from intake through planning, development, measurement and adoption?
  • Monitor performance metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of diversity initiatives and activities
  • Communicate opportunities, status and outcome in a compelling and clear way that fosters buy-in, alignment and support
  • Provide support, direction and development to the D&I coordinators and their efforts
  • Ensure D&I practices and messages are embedded in overall talent strategies including education, benefits, HR technology and systems, talent planning, and compensation with a strong focus on our recruiting, interview and selection processes
  • Use D&I data and analytics to inform tactical action plans across multiple departments
  • Provide counsel and research on the development and review of policies and practices to ensure inclusion, diversity and equity for employees
  • Advise Employee Resource Groups on their operating model and processes
  • Determine the best use of current and future technology to optimize diversity and inclusion processes and practices
  • Benchmark effectiveness of Asurion?s diversity and inclusion efforts and ensures best practices are implemented by staying informed of leading diversity and inclusion trends and issues QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience and/or related certifications
    • 5+ years of professional work experience that includes talent management, diversity, Human Resources, or related field
    • Process improvement and/or project management experience working in a complex environment
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes
    • Computer skills, including a strong facility with Microsoft OfficeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
      • Recognized as a subject matter expert in HR or D&I policies and practices, process improvement, or project management?
      • Ability to manage all aspects of multiple process improvement initiatives or programs including documentation, deliverables, timelines and change management
      • Very strong administration, organizational and interpersonal skills
      • Demonstrated skill in responding with timeliness and accuracy in complex and fast-paced environments and a commitment to high quality program delivery
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
      • Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization
      • Experience working with diverse communities and persons of varying educational levels and experience
      • Flexible/adaptable and ability to problem-solve in the moment
      • Ability to influence others at an operational level regarding new concepts, practices and approaches
      • Ability to engage the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives (i.e. influencing without authority)
