Workday HRIS Manager - Corporate - Summit Healthcare Mgmt -
Franklin, Tennessee
About the Job:
The HIRS Manager is a key team member dedicated to solving HR
business related challenges through ongoing development and
management of the Workday platform, including implementation,
configuration, enhancements and managing release. This individual
will be managing the prioritization and implementation of requests
with specific focus on optimizing recruitment and onboarding in
addition to supporting Core HCM initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify optimization and automation opportunities and support
initiatives related to Workday Recruitment, Onboarding and
HCM.
- Research configuration solutions and prototype design based on
requirements and best practices that drive efficiency and
scalability while aligning to Summit's overall needs and technology
strategy.
- Drive HR initiatives by working with the business to map out
the strategy and roadmap for the implementation of new features,
enhancements and applications.
- Execute and develop implementation strategy for new requests
including configuration, testing, documentation, change management
and training of stakeholders.
- Build strong internal relationships with HR and
cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes, pain points
and opportunities for optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday based upon
functional areas or projects assigned providing continuous input on
process improvement and elevated support.
- Work on ad-hoc projects related to processes, integrations,
reporting, data, security or new modules.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of data.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Seven or more years of expert knowledge of Workday hands-on
configuration and system administration experience.
- Experience implementing and managing Workday HCM, Recruiting,
Onboarding modules and Security.
- Must be analytical, proactive, and passionate about leveraging
technology to build efficiencies.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and how decisions impact
downstream systems, processes and the end user experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems and MS Office.
- Intermediate / Advanced experience using MS Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coming up with
innovative solutions under tight deadlines while managing multiple
priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to a wide
variety of audiences.
- Extensive experience with the software development lifecycle,
including identifying business requirements, crafting creative
technical solutions, integrating and implementing solutions, and
providing system maintenance and support.
- Experience in a healthcare organization is a plus.
- Experience with Workday Absence and Payroll is a plus.
