Summary of Job Duties:General Description of the Position: This
position will have overall responsibility for execution of the
scope of work, including progress monitoring, communicating and
coordinating with employer partners and ensuring activities align
with the project vision. The project director will do this by
developing and implementing key strategies to achieve key
milestones and outcomes in the scope of work.
Track and report participant outputs for a selected cohort of
students on a quarterly basis throughout the grant cycle, using
DOL's Workforce Innovation Performance System (WIPS). Develop and
monitor a participant tracking plan. Develop an advisory council of
area employers and required partners.
Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, Master's Preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; and the ability
to relate to a wide range of issues, people, and institutions.
Excellent public speaking, listening, writing, and computer skills
to include Microsoft Office and database management. Leadership
experience directing both staff and youth.
