Overview
USAP is seeking a Director of Finance to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role will provide critical analytical insights that support physician financial operations, strategic decisions and create value for shareholders and clinicians.

• Prepares and reviews calculations and analysis of all aspects of the physician compensation models including:
  
• Participates in quarterly physician compensation certification processes by running and auditing physician compensation models
  
• Review physician compensation models and understand the drivers - maintain and update models as necessary
  
• Consolidates, streamlines, and automates existing physician compensation processes, models, reports, etc.
  
• Key contact for physicians' compensation questions and ad-hoc requests
  
• Manages two analysts that support physician compensation process
  
• Attend divisions meetings or CGB / Compensation meetings, as needed, presenting and reviewing financials where required
  
• Assists in month end financial close process by preparing various journal entries
  
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and on-going forecasting
  
• Develop and continuously improve analytics at the division and facility level and provide analytical support to the platform SVP and CFO
  
• Aggregate and analyze performance and financial data including preparing various monthly managerial and operational reporting by cost center, facility, provider, service line, etc.
  
  Qualifications
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics / Decision Science, Accounting, or related area required
    
  • CPA or MBA is also preferred
    
  • Healthcare industry and / or consulting experience preferred
    
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in similar duties
    
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with staff, physicians, and external customers
    
  • Strong presentation skills
    
  • Proficiency in business analytics with ability to draw conclusions from the data
    
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously in a high production hybrid work environment
    
  • Ability to understand and analyze user requirements as they relate to organizational goals and objectives
    
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    
  • Knowledge of Workday, Power BI and Adaptive is a plus
    
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
