Job Description:

Our client, a large Commercial Construction company, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager in the greater Nashville region. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building process for large commercial projects in Middle TN/Southcentral KY. They will work closely with clients, engineers, and architects to develop plans and oversee construction during project implementation. The Senior PM will also manage all subcontractors, and will direct the decision-making regarding any technical, cost, scheduling and performance measures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards, as well as project policies and procedures.
• Supervising project schedules, deadlines, and progress to ensure projects are on track to completion.
• Planning all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Directing field construction, engineering, and other field project activity.
• Determining needed resources such as labor, equipment, and materials, from start to finish and monitoring for inadequacies.
• Managing budgets, analyzing cost reports, and reviewing purchasing activities.
• Conducting regular project inspections to review progress, quality, and safety.
• Working with subcontractors to determine the specifications of the project and ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications.
• Coordinating with architects, inspectors, and clients/representatives to resolve project issues.
• Leading meetings regarding project progress and future construction activity planning. Requirements:
• At least 10 years commercial construction management experience is required
• Large project ($75M+) experience is required
• Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Engineering or other related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of programs such as BIM, Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project
• Negotiation and contract management skills and ability to represent the company to clients and/or vendors.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and general construction disciplines.
• Extensive heavy construction experience. What our Client Offers:
• Base salary in the 120K-180K (depending on experience)
