Finance and Accounting located at our corporate office in

Finance and Accounting supports the achievement of the company's
financial objectives through the analysis of the financial and
competitive business environment of CoreCivic. - Assists with the
month-end close process for revenue, accounts receivable, cash,
debt, and interest expense. Assists with the analysis necessary to
support executive decision-making and contract management. -
Analysis involves close interaction with various departments across
the company, including Finance and Accounting, Partnership
Development and Operations. - Provides analytical support for
project investment decisions, cash management and contract
modifications. - Completes ad hoc analysis as requested by
executive management.
Assists in the maintenance and
preparation of financial models used to evaluate project investment
returns and support contract pricing decisions.Coordinates with
various departments across the company to collect data inputs for
financial models used to evaluate project investment returns and
support contract pricing decisions.Maintains models in support of
and prepares daily cash report to support cash management
practices, and communicates daily borrowing decisions made by
Treasury leadership to corporate lenders.Maintains familiarity with
terms of primary revolving credit agreements and keeps track of key
notice and payment dates as required for outstanding debt
tranches.Prepares or approves, as needed, wire and ACH requests,
payment requests and borrowing notices as directed.Modifies
contract pricing schedules as needed by the Partnership Development
team to support ongoing contract updates. Prepares and updates cost
justification forms and models required by government partners for
the RFP and contracting process.Creates and maintains corporate
general ledger sub-schedules including the revenue sub-schedule,
accounts receivable sub-schedule, debt roll-forward, and interest
expense calculation.Assists Director, Revenue & Cash Cycle in
detecting and investigating monthly variances related to revenue
cycle accounts and debt related accounts.Assists Director, Revenue
& Cash Cycle in preparing key financial documents and involved in
reviewing and understanding facility performance vs budget and
forecast for revenue cycle accounts.Prepares, as needed, financial
calculations such as facility lease terms, asset valuations and
cost/benefit analyses to support decision making.Maintains a
working knowledge of all applicable corporate accounting
policiesDomestic U.S. travel may be required. Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited college
or university with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or an
acceptable related field is required. - CPA or graduate degree is
preferred. - Two years of related professional experience is
required. - Must demonstrate strong verbal and written grammatical
and communication skills. - Excellent analytical abilities along
with strong attention to numerical detail is also required.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
is required. - Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years
of age. A valid driver's license is required. CoreCivic is a
