Account Manager Position Summary: Deployment of Energy Storage Systems is a fast-growing segment of the Renewable Energy and Utility sectors of the electrical generation and distribution industry. This relatively new niche is dynamic, and products are continuing to change and adapt to new battery technologies and connection architectures. This role will focus on: Business Development: Call on existing and new customers to uncover their requirements and pain points in connecting battery systems, with the support of the existing (and growing) Shoals Sales Team. Product Development: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to develop Electrical Balance of System (EBOS) solutions to address those pain points and requirements. Sales: Quote, track, and win new business by selling those solutions. Account Manager Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Pre-Sales Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements/challenges and provide sales support Talk directly with customers, product management, and engineers to assess needs and determine customer requirements. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers Prepare specific quotes to solve customer needs Recommend improved solutions versus the traditional solutions to customers Partner with sales to secure and renew orders Post Sales Spend time on site ,as required, to ensure the project is successfully deployed and the customer is delighted Act as a liaison between client and quality department for any warranty-related items to drive open items to close. Provide a report of field activities and communicate VOC data to other team members via the CRM.
