The DO ensures the highest quality clinical care is delivered to the inmates entrusted to our care by allocating our healthcare funds to deliver the most appropriate care to the greatest number of inmates. The DO ensures we meet or exceed our commitments to all stakeholders: our employees, our clients, our board and each other. This is accomplished by providing guidance, direction and support to the HSAs, ensuring our clinical staff are trained and supported in the delivery of care, providing key performance information to our clients, acting as the conduit for the sharing of information between the field and the corporate office, and collaborating with all functions in the corporate office.Additional Details: Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Tennessee. Remote based and travel required. Registered Nurse and Correctional Healthcare experience highly preferred. Multi-site operations management experience required. What you bring to the table:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field.Master's Degree preferred.Experience:Five plus years of experience in healthcare operations management required, correctional health experience preferred.Multi-site management experience required.Licenses/Certifications:NoneWhat you will do:Mentor, coach and support HSAsReview clinical and operating metrics versus expectationsEvaluate individual HSA performance and identify development opportunitiesReview and approve, with the HSA, his or her team member performance evaluations and identify professional development opportunitiesLiaison between HSAs and corporate office/executive teamCollaborate with all corporate functions to ensure program success (HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, etc)Ensure that facilities under management achieve clinical, service, and operating objectivesProvide regular written communications on key performance indicators, statistics, facility developments, and important developmentsConduct regularly scheduled site visits, include discussion of any issues/concerns/opportunities.Monitor adherence to contract, P&Ps, rules and regulations for assigned countiesLiaison with outside community medical and behavioral health partners to ensure program successEstablish and maintain excellent working relationships with Sheriff's staff, custody staff and medical staffIdentify and share best practices with jail staffComply with contract reporting requirementsWorks with business development team on annual contract renewalsAttend quarterly Quality Assurance meetingsCoordinate and schedule QA meetings with PMs and other DOsReview P&P after PMs/HSAs make changes, submit to COO and/or CMO for final approvalParticipate in weekly CMO callAssist with accreditation/compliance processProvide training/standardized in-services and on-boarding for staff as neededEngage in proactive and on-going performance managementOversee work with drug formulary compliance by working in collaboration with clinical leadershipManage off-site referral process through collaborating with CMO and UM/RN as well as using tools like AristaMDMonitor compliance to staffing plans, manage changes to staffing plans with input from HSA, Finance, COO.Document approved changes to staffing plans and ensure all approvals are receivedAuthorize equipment purchases and communicate needs to corporate officeManage key operating metrics: including staffing/schedules/payroll, labor, supply, pharmacy, staff retentionParticipate in development of annual operating planWellpath is an EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability EmployerOur investment in you:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance plan optionsTime off & leave benefits401KTuition ReimbursementParental benefitsPerks and discountsAnd more available here
