The Assistant Nurse Manager, Acute Dialysis unit, is a direct
supervisory leadership role and a key member of the Nursing
leadership team. Your position works under the guidance and
direction of the Nurse Manager and leads a cohort of approximately
18 staff members and actively participates in overall management of
the unit, development of clinical practice, and provision of
patient care with accountabilities for implementation and outcomes
for people leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance,
throughout and scheduling.

The primary focus of the Assistant Nurse Manager is to ensure the
unit's optimal performance by engaging in effective problem solving
for staff, patients and families and to develop/lead the assigned
cohort. You will provide feedback and coaching to staff members,
recognizing them for their contributions while fostering a

patients with varied acuity and diagnoses.
We provide supportive therapies for Adult and Pediatric patients
who are being treated for many diagnoses, requiring continuous and
intermittent hemodialysis procedures as well as therapeutic
apheresis, including therapeutic plasmapheresis, leukapheresis, LDL
apheresis, therapeutic red cell exchanges, and platelet depletions.

provide each patient the treatment they require.

We orient new nurses to our unit by providing a progressive
orientation that is structured to meet the needs of the learner
based on their previous experiences.
- Full-time, day shift requires 2 12-hour shifts and 2 8-hour
shifts with 1 Saturday shift per month

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and/or
Masters in Nursing (MSN) required and at least 1 year Dialysis or
ICU experienceLicensure, Certification, and/or Registration
