Job Description:

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The SOM will meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage, direct and monitor the overall performance of the manufacturing organization
• Oversee daily operations
• Manage and provide leadership to all personnel onsite
• Prepare and maintain operational budgets and resource requirements
• Analyze data and create reports to present to upper management
• Ensure quality is maintained at a high level and in accordance with company policies & regulations and are in accordance with local, state and federal laws & regulations.
• Assist in creating and writing policies and procedures
• Achieve KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Optimize production flow
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues that arise
• Monitor production orders and schedules
• Research, identify & implement ways to improve cost without compromising quality or safety
• Facilitate good communication and foster a team approach to problem solving
• Ensure budget compliance
• Develop and recommend improvement plans concerning equipment, facilities, operations and staffing
• Researching and identifying growth opportunities
• Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:
  • 7+ years of management experience in a manufacturing facility and prior operations management experience
  • Strong team building, decision making and people management skills
  • Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of latest safety laws and regulations
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • High level of proficiency with both MS Office and Google Suite
  • Working knowledge of ERP or MRP Operating Systems
  • Previous experience in hot tub manufacturing industry is highly preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is highly desirable
