LifePoint Health- Health Support Center

The Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Systems is responsible for the strategic vision and all activities associated with LifePoint's Revenue Cycle Systems implementations, interfaces, maintenance and support. Responsible for strategic oversight for all LifePoint revenue cycle systems and related Information Technology and Service (IT&S) services, including program / project development, business planning, decision-making, budget planning and expense control, and performance management of team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Directing and standardizing all activities related to LifePoint's Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain Systems including, but not limited to, implementation, interfaces, standardization, maintenance and support of LPNT hospitals.
Assumes a leadership role in the planning, directing, and management of LifePoint's Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain application suite and integration with LPNT's financial and clinical systems.
Responsible for contract compliance with associated vendors and contracts that participate in LPNT's revenue cycle implementations and support activities.
Assist with annual budgets and monitors expense control.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle application environments and staff.
Develop and manage departmental service level that focuses on quality, customer service and support.
Directs manager / staff that develop and deploy solutions which enhance quality care, improve productivity and enhance the image of the LifePoint facilities and their use of technology.
Develop and support revenue cycle systems which enhance the effectiveness, quality, profitability and competitive nature of LifePoint Hospitals.
Design integrated system solutions for revenue cycle efficiency.
Facilitate the vendor relationships between the Health Support Center (HSC), facilities and patients resulting in optimal system performance and usage.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Work Experience Minimum 10 years with progressive IT Management experience in a healthcare settin

Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital environment.
Moderate overnight travel (up to 30%) by land and/or air.
