This high impact opportunity is the newest role within Vaco's
Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO). Immediate project(s)
will include management and oversight of technical projects and
other strategic initiatives from project initiation to closure.
The Project Manager, Enterprise PMO is an exceptional communicator
and influencer. The successful individual possesses strong
experience in scoping business requirements with software
applications projects, an ability to facilitate discovery/design
sessions, experience documenting process flows, and solid
understanding of project lifecycles.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to
methods and goals and to track project tasks.
Manage assigned projects, including its planning, communication,
risk assessment, and resources
Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving
Develop project plans that identify resource and timeline needs
Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults
to seek solutions to a more efficient process
Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks
and to develop mitigation plans.
Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring
communication between various departments of an organization
Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
Coordinate with clients, vendors and suppliers as needed
Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying
out their responsibilities
Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts
allocations when necessary.
Offer solutions effective in meeting set targets and satisfying
Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks,
milestones, and deadlines.
Manages multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure
environments; excelling at pinpointing and resolving problems in
early project stages to avoid cost/time expenses.
Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
PMP and/or Agile and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
Bachelor's degree in project management or a related discipline. 3+
years of experience in people and resource management are essential
to the position
The position is contract-to-hire. Remote candidates considered;
however, the ideal candidate will be able and/or willing to be
on-site in our Nashville office.
Approximately 25% of work time traveling for key kick-off meetings,
company off-site meetings, etc.
